Deluge Installer / Seed Box Installer.

Hello everyone,

In this post, I will be showcasing my Deluge Installer coded in Bash.

The idea behind this Deluge Installer was a request, a friend of mine was tired of reinstall everything manually for their new VPS, so I coded up this script for them, and now I will share it with you! (Note: Tested only with Mint & Ubuntu)

First thing’s first you would want to git clone (download) the script.

Once done change directory to the script and make sure you make the script executable, simply just do chmod 766 InstallSeedBox.

Now you’re able to execute the script using “./InstallSeedBox” don’t forget you will need root! Or else this script will fail.

The rest is straight forward; the script will take care of everything some user import may be needed but nothing major.

Once done and the server has been restarted, you can access your seed box GUI via the web would be the server IP address and :8112, in my case, it was The default password is “deluge”

Select and press “Connect” That’s it! You have a fully working Seed Box, and it only took seconds.

I’ve been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.

It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and
bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
